Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh “State of the Sandwich” Giveaway!

A while back I told you Toni-Lynn and I would be visiting Madison, WI as a guest of Oscar Mayer to learn all about the benefits of brown bagging. We all know, it is a great way to save money, but honestly it can be well, BORING! While we were in Madison, I learned a lot about deli meat and I can tell you I will never buy it from the counter again. That is just gross when you think of how many times it is in and out of the fridge, put on cutters that cut other things and just the general way it sits there for days! I have honestly been converted to a sliced deli shopper.
One of the really cool parts of the trip was that all the bloggers involved brought recipes to share and we video taped them. We also got some very cool cooking lessons (which is always a bonus for me) about how to make things quick, easy, healthy but most of all a little more FUN!
I have had a ball after Madison using some of the techniques I learned there and lunch has become a much more pleasant experience in my house because of it.
Toni-Lynn and I absolutely want to pass on what we learned to you so the best way is to show you all the cool videos we made as well as our new bloggy friends. We have a great contest for one of you to win: a party pack from Oscar Mayer so you can try these out as well!

I didn’t know that about the Roma tomatoes. Thanks for explaining that.
I love bagels and never seem to remember making it the foundation of my sandwich.
I love chipotle, so that chicken chipotle sandwich sounds delicious! I also love everything bagels. It seems like you couldn’t go wrong with either of those recipes!

Toni Lynn’s sandwich looks good, but I’m not a huge chipotle pepper fan. I would probably use pepper jack cheese and regular mayo. I agree about the Roma tomatoes, that’s what we normally buy.

Your roast beef sandwich looks delicious except I think I’d use a little horseradish instead of mustard. It was a great video.

Barb’s video uses one of my favorite bagels. The Everything bagel does make a great base for a sandwich
Toni Lynns sandwich sounds great. I love chipotle peppers. I like some but not to much spice and this sounds yummy.

I like the ways to use bagels.
Toni the Chipolte mayo sounds delish. I need to try that. I do avocado mayo now but I like the spice of chipolte. Sandwich looked delish.
Barb I love Havarti cheese. Many people don’t use it but should because it adds a different take on a sandwich. YUM

I make Bagel sandwiches all the time but I had never thought to use a flavored cream cheese…yummy!
I had no idea there was such a thing as Chipolte mayo…yum! And the tip with the Roma tomato having more flavor is great!

These are delicious I just made Toni Lynn’s yum e!
I love Oscar Mayer everything after all we all grew up on it!
I like how Toni-Lynn explains why she chose Romaine lettuce and Roma tomatoes, as well as how to make the chipolte mayo with alternatives. DH would probably like that as a change in his lunch.
Barb, what a great idea to use a bagel for the bread! Now I want a sandwich.
