We are big produce eaters in my home. The boys, thankfully, actually love their fruit! OK, well, I am probably being a bit dramatic but lets face it~braces are EXPENSIVE! Nothing drives me more insane than him not taking care of them. He is 13, he really doesn’t care if he drives me crazy, in fact, I think he rather enjoys it.

I was commiserating with other mothers of brace clad children and I was saying that I should get him a Waterpik. I had one when I was wearing braces (hey, I am not that old people) and I remember it working really well. Of course, I was a girl and I actually cared if I had thing stuck in them but alas…

I was so happy when Waterpik contacted me and asked if I wanted to review one. Strange how I was just talking about it!

He thought the whole concept was “weird” when we first unpacked the Ultra Dental Water Jet it but now he is hooked on it. According to him it is really easy to use and it gets all the “crud” out of the back teeth better than flossing, lol. It has cool attachments that let him brush or ‘floss’.

I don’t care how he describes it as long as he keeps using it! If you have kids in braces I think this is a must have. Here is a $5 off coupon for Waterpik!
